Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz Actively Providing Digital Services to the Citizens

In the first 13 days of the year, more than 156,000 citizens have availed police services from Khidmat Marakaz.

Under the directives of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, police Khidmat Marakaz across the province are actively engaged in providing digital services to citizens. Spokesperson for Punjab Police shared that over 156,000 citizens utilized services from these centers in the first 13 days of this year. Spokesperson shared that 83,000 citizens underwent general police verification, while over 36,000 obtained police character certificates. Additionally, over 18,000 citizens registered tenancy agreements. Medical-legal certificates were issued to more than 4,000 citizens, and under initiatives for vulnerable groups, legal and social protection was provided to over 4,700 individuals.

Furthermore, the spokesperson highlighted that over 1,500 citizens availed vehicle verification services, 3,100 registered missing documents, and 175 filed crime reports. Copies of FIRs were provided to over 4,600 citizens, while three cases of violence against women were registered. Additionally, 567 citizens registered employees through the ROPE system, and 27 citizens verified private employees with the police. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that these Khidmat Marakaz are a flagship project of public service delivery, providing 24/7 facilities. Millions of citizens, including those from Lahore and across the province, benefit from the services of police Khidmat Marakaz monthly. He added that, based on citizen feedback, the services are being further upgraded accordingly.
