LAHORE:The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Punjab, Tuesday met with cops and their families at the Central Police Office (CPO). The IGP listened to their concerns and asked authorities to attend their issues. He forwarded the plea of the widow of Shaheed ASI Basharat Ali to DIG Establishment-II, the request of DSP Yousaf Haroon to Additional IG Special Branch, the plea of Constable Muhammad Idrees to relevant officers and request of Constable Faqeer Hussain to the DIG IT. Meanwhile, the IGP convened a meeting with inspectors from Lahore and other districts at the CPO to discuss their promotion issues. During the meeting, the inspectors highlighted challenges faced by them in the process of their promotions.
